How to install SLAX from USB to HDD

Hello dear users, I have a common problem but I couldn't find an answer to it anywhere. Here it goes: I installed SLAX 64-bit on a 64GB USB drive using YUMI (USB tool), it runs fine from USB but I can't manage to use wireless Internet. Here is what I want to do: Install SLAX to my harddrive permanently from my USB drive and also be able to use wireless Internet on it. I'll be glad if people can show me how to do this. Thanks.

I downloaded and burnt the CD iso and can boot my Toshiba Tecra 8000 from the Live CD and it works (slowly & after setting edd=off). How do I install it to the HDD ? I've looked for slax-install and slax-installer - but found nothing. I know how to mkfs and all that jazz - I just need to know how to get the darned OS onto the hard drive (so that it can be booted from the hard drive). Checked similar threads and ... Slackware is TOOOO big...

Completely new to linux, I decided to finally give it a try last night and made a Live USB for Slax. It booted up quickly, pretty much everything worked right away, and after getting the Wifi working I decided to call it a night. My project for today was attempting to install Java, but I haven't had much success. There are modules on the Slax site for this, but a. they are unverified and b. I want to delve into linux further than just downloading everything off a website. I downloaded the latest Java package for linux, which was a self-extracting .bin. I followed steps 1 through 4 here, but step 5 didn't work. I got the error message Quote:

Is there any way to install slax on the hard drive. I tried extracting the iso contents to drive c: and then using grub tried to run it as I run other puppy distros. But it loads and reaches a point and I get a message "looking for live cd" and then I get a message "something went wrong, this should not happen, press ctrl+alt+del to reboot".

How to build a new (new as in 2.6.21.5) kernel for Slax 5.1.whatever, on a usb stick? I need this to get networking to work. There are tutorials for rebuilding the slax 2.6.16 series kernel, but not for a more up-to-date kernel. I know I need squashfs and unionfs, but I'm not sure what else I need, and how to actually install it in the squashfs, initrd.gz etc.
