Good Old Games DRM Free!!
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: October 25, 2008
Hey guys, this isn't exactly related to Linux gaming but I just stumbled across a website called "Good Old Games". It's a store that sells older games for real cheap and uses online distribution. Best part is that every one of their games is guaranteed to be DRM-free. That's the reason I'm posting this here. It's nice to have a source for commercial DRM-free games and they've got some classics as well as some games I wanted to play but never got around to (Stonekeep, Fallout, Messiah, Kingpin, etc). A lot of their games are only $5.99 so it's cheap gaming entertainment.
Hopefully these will run well in WINE and/or Dosbox.
Oh, and the link is www.gog.com. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it because DRM-free games are important to me, so I will certainly be giving them some business.

- date: October 20, 2014
I just bought a Dell Poweredge C1100 server. I want to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 (x86_64bit) OS on it. Please let me know where I can download RHEL 6.5 Operating System software for free (not trial/evaluation version). I have heard it is available free of cost. I just don't know the exact website. I would greatly appreciate your help on this. Thanks much in advance.
How to make Android Multiplayer Games using Facebook friends? (Google Play Game Services uses G+ only)
location: linuxexchange.com - date: June 23, 2014
At the risk of this question being marked 'research' or 'too broad', I am placing this question here with the research I have done so far (to count as background work), especially since I have been researching this for a while but have not found a good turnkey solution. thank you for your inputs!
I want to make Turn Based Multiplayer Game. I found Google Play Game Services but that only works with Google+ Login: https://developers.google.com/games/services/android/turnbasedMultiplayer
How do I do the same with Facebook login? Can Google Play Game Services be used with Facebook friends?
In my research, the other option I found is nextpeer.com, but not sure if they can do a turn by turn based. I think i have to send player to player messages directly to achieve the turn based player, dont want to do that.
EDIT: After I posted the question, i found Android Games Tutorial with Facebook SDK - trying to understand if turn based game can be done using Facebook SDK.

Building Android apk from kivy application
location: linuxexchange.com - date: December 2, 2015
I am trying to build the android app from kivy application. I used the Buildozer image as given on the kivy.org downloads page, but that Virtual Machine never runs on the virtualbox. Is there any other way to do this. I have seen some SO questions regarding this but they seem to be very old and hasn't been of much help till now.
How do I install Buildozer on Ubuntu 13.10 to create an Android APK of a Kivy App?
location: linuxexchange.com - date: January 1, 1970
It's not easy to install buildozer on Ubuntu 13.10. I reinstalled Ubuntu several times and now I'd like to share how I installed buildozer.
I got the following errors from buildozer:
./distribute.sh not found --> no fix found (that's why I reinstalled Ubuntu twice, probably an issue with python installation but I'm not sure)
_add_java_src() fails --> adding the correct Java JDK path fixed it
