Contact Sync for iPhone duplicates contacts.

When synchronising a contact from the web interface to an iPhone using the Ubuntu One mobile contact synchronising app the iPhone duplicates the contact causing there to be two of the same contact. Phone to Server does not. It is also not duplicated in evolution email client.
Xamarin.iOS App quits instantly on iPhone. Debugger won't attach. Simulator won't launch

I'm trying to work on a small Xamarin.iOS app using Visual Studio 2013, a Mac build host, and a physical iPhone for testing. Everything was working fine before new years. I upgraded to Xamarin 4 on the Mac, the PC, and in Visual Studio. I don't know if that has anything to do with it though. After all, everything was still working after the upgrade. App ran, debugger attached and hit breakpoints or broke on exceptions, Visual Studio connected to both the simulator and physical device, etc.
I left for New Years and returned today (Monday) to find that for NO REASON WHATSOEVER--I made NO changes--the app quits immediately when I try to launch it for debugging on the physical iPhone. It still worked on the simulator. I tried launching the app on the iPhone itself (by touching its icon) with the same result. It flashes the splash screen for a split second and immediately quits to the home screen.
Launching from Visual Studio, it SAYS that it launched successfully, but will not hit any br
iPhone vs Android

I was talking to some friends yesterday and one them said they were going to be getting rid of their Android phone and replacing it with an iPhone because iPhones are much less susceptible to getting viruses. I pointed out that Android phones are based on Linux so they wouldn't get all the Windows viruses but that any phone can get a virus if you download a rogue app. I also recall reading somewhere that the iPhone has different OS to Apple computers which they don't have that added security.
I'm really interested in what others think about this and which they prefer: Android or iPhones.

Hey everybody
Don't know if I can put this here, but I wanted to get some opinions on which you think is better and why. An explanation would be nice.

Only time will tell. Anyway, the developments here are interesting to watch.
Canonical has one ace in the hole – the desktop feature. A powerful phone with Ubuntu installed can serve as a regular PC, once connected to a monitor and a keyboard.
At a time when most of your applications are hosted in the cloud, the ability to have your phone run a thin client on a large screen could convince many to try this Linux distribution. Add the fact that a fleet of Ubuntu phones can be managed through the same tools as Ubuntu servers, and you can see how it could appeal to the enterprise users.

syncing iphone 4s with iOS 5.1 in ubuntu 12.04
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: May 20, 2012
Hi, I'm trying to sync iphone 4s with iOS 5.1 in ubuntu 12.04. I've tried using the Rythmbox and gtkpod iPod manager. However they seem to be laced with errors.
Question 1: Can you actually sync in 12.04?
Question 2: Do I need to have my iphone unlocked/jailbroken to manage it in 12.04?
Thanks
