LMDE12 using MATE Is there a WALLPAPER CHANGER app? Or a programming statement?

Linux Mint Debian Edition 12 - MATE
I have just switched to LMDE 12 using the MATE desktop and I love it! It's super fast and the MATE desktop is exactly what I want...with one tiny exception-
The problem is, I have tons of wallpapers in several folders and miss them being randomly displayed.
Is there an app that will run on MATE in LMDE 12 release that can be pointed at one or more folders (I have 4 folders) of wallpaper files which will randomly change the wallpaper every x number of minutes?
And barring that, what would a linux command program statement have to say, to change the wallpaper on MATE in the LMDE-12 release so that it displays between my upper and lower launch bars?
How I can access the call log/history of iPhone
location: linuxexchange.com - date: September 15, 2010
This is for jailbroken iPhone.
Is there a way I can access the call_history.db on iPhone which is a database where apple logs the phone call information.
It is stored at /private/var/mobile/Library/CallHistory directory. When I try to enumerate directory paths under /private/var/mobile/Library it does not list CallHistory folder but everything else. I guess Apple does allow access somehow despite of having all the permissions.
Is there a way I can get access to call_history.db and copy it under my app?
I have already gone through another stackoverflow question here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/341622/accessing-the-iphones-call-log-with-the-iphone-sdk but no luck so far :(

Mobile Mouse App for iPhone
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: February 23, 2011
my brother found this app for the iPhone 3gs, which helps him use his iPhone to control the mouse.
The app doesn't have any support for our beloved Linux, so I was wondering if there was some sort of an equivalent set up that was available for Linux. I saw one of my friends use the wii-mote as a pointer mouse and have my hopes that there is something similar for the iPhone.

VNC iPhone app
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: June 27, 2011
I have a Mythbuntu system as an extra PVR/tuner and shared files server for my house. I normally do configuration work on it by VNCing to it from my main computer so that either my wife can watch TV (on the cable box PVR) without me taking up the TV screen doing something uninteresting, or I can be accessible to my toddler while he's napping (TV computer is in the other corner of the house, my computer is just one room over).
Now, my wife and I just got new iPhone 4's, and I was thinking maybe I could use that to VNC over for some things. I've downloaded Mocha VNC Lite v2.9, but it's not working great for me -- at least not the free "lite" version. It only has left-click mouse support (no drag, no RMB, etc.) and doesn't have full keyboard emulation. The limitations are causing some small problems like being unable to open xfce's application submenus (only the main menu will open, and all the actual programs are located in submenus), and some terminal features you take for
