Cannot install python bottle on linux
- date: December 16, 2013
I'm having trouble installing python bottle framework on linux. Here is the information I got from uname -a:
Linux magzilla 3.2.0-38-generic #61-Ubuntu SMP Tue Feb 19 12:18:21 UTC
2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I have installed python 2.7.3 and pip on it. They both are set up successfully. After I downloaded bottle 0.11 framework, I tried to install it, using sudo apt-get install python-bottle, and I got the following:
sudo apt-get install python-bottle Reading package lists... Done

might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these: The following

Install Citrix ICA XenApp receiver Client in 64bit Ubuntu 11.04 Natty
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: September 1, 2011
See lots of other users having problems with the Citrix receiver on 64-bit Natty, so here goes:
Because we are on 64-bit Linux, we only have 64-bit libraries.
Install the 32-bit libraries with:
$ sudo apt-get install libxaw7 libmotif4 ia32-libs
ICA Client needs the OpenMotif 2.3 libraries (often called OpenMotif version 3, or libmotif4).
Go to the Ubuntu package search: http://packages.ubuntu.com/
Under the header 'Search package directories', search for libmotif4.
Choose the libmotif4 package from natty, version at time of writing: 2.3.3-5ubuntu1, and download the i386 package.
Extract the package:
$ mkdir libmotif4
$ dpkg -x libmotif4_2.3.3-5ubuntu1_i386.deb libmotif4
Now copy the libraries to /usr/lib32 (make sure they don't overwrite existing files):
$ cd libmotif4/usr/lib
$ cp -ivR * /usr/lib32
This should install libXm.so.4 in the correct directory, which is needed by the ICA Client.
Go to the Citrix download page: http://www.ci

[SOLVED] ubuntu 9.04 64bit and brother dcp7030 cannot install driver
location: linuxquestions.com - date: April 13, 2010
Purchased a brother dcp-7030 laser printer after reading very positive web review/forum comments stating drivers were available from brother site. Unable to install cupswrapper driver successfully. Created /usr/share/cups/model directory as directed (and also a /usr/share/cups/dcp-7030 directory in case I hadn't quite understood the instructions) and then installed cupswrapper brother progs via synaptic. Cannot find a 7030 driver to install. Tried installing the driver from the brother site, but after downloading the .deb version and trying to install it, I get a wrong architecture msg. Checked and I have the 32 bit dependencies installed, which the brother site states are required. At a loss at present. Thanks in advance.
