[SOLVED] Clementine compilation error on Slackware64 current
location: linuxquestions.com - date: April 21, 2012
I am trying to compile Clementine on Slackware64 -current. I built the following packages as optional dependencies:
However the compilation of Clementine itself errors out with the following message:
Gstreamer plugin error Clementine
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: May 15, 2014
I have no idea what's going on but Clementine repeatedly throws me errors regarding music playback. Steps I have taken include:
1) updated to the latest via the Clementine PPA.
2) checked that I had ubuntu-restricted-extras (latest is installed.)
3) Installed EVERY libgstreamer-plugin via synaptic.
4) Checked my locale and made sure US_en_UTF-8 was in there.
5) ran in terminal for error checking.
So basically, none of that has helped and the errors were Gstreamer 572 and GstreamerPipeline562 (IIRC.) Not sure where to turn from here. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to why it is acting up (though I'm guessing that maybe one of the plugins is incorrectly configured or something.)
Any ideas? Running Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 with all packages updated/upgraded.
"database disk image is malformed"

I'm not good with computers and I have no idea what to do.. I hope someone can help me with this problem..

I've just installed Clementine from the 1 click install available from the openSUSE Build Service: clementine-0.4.2-1.1.x86_64.rpm and it installed ok.
I am running opensuse 11.1
When I run the program from K Menu, it fails to start, so I tried from the Konsole and got this error message:
No such file or directory error

I am cross-compiling a program on my PC (12.04) for my beaglebone (12.04 precise armhf). But when I try to execute the program on beaglebone:
bash: ./helloworldtest: No such file or directory
Here are some properties:
:/home/ubuntu/helloworld# file helloworldtest
helloworldtest: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.31, BuildID[sha1]=0xca0159e70b99493764b601a0195ee18be5e29b31, not stripped
:/home/ubuntu/helloworld# ls -la
drwxrwxr-x 2 ubuntu ubuntu 4096 Jul 20 07:51 .
drwxr-xr-x 5 ubuntu ubuntu 4096 Jul 20 07:50 ..
-rwxrwxrwx 1 ubuntu ubuntu 72739 Jul 20 07:42 helloworldtest
I searched net and found out that most of the people who had this problem, had it because they were using 64 bits machine to compile the code but my PC's processor is 32 bits and my beaglebone's is 32bits too.

Compiling for arm? configure: error: cannot run C compiled programs
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: February 10, 2008
I've tried compiling a few things today, and nothing is working anymore. When I do the typical ./configure, I get the following error:
checking for C compiler default output file name... a.out
checking whether the C compiler works... configure: error: cannot run C compiled programs.
If you meant to cross compile, use `--host'.
See `config.log' for more details.

error: no such device:
location: linux.com - date: May 24, 2010
this is about the 4th time i've tried to reinstall linux ubuntu with no results. i am attempting to have a dual boot system with ubuntu and windows 7. i have a gateway lx series with an intel core 2 quad Q8200 processor, nvidia gt120 with 1gig of dedicated ram, 8 gigs of ram. after going through the entire installation process, after it tells me to restart and kicks out the CD, before i get to select os or anything, i get this message:
error: no such device: 14150b0a-9486-4824-94c3-8d93cfa1afa4.
What do i do? i want to have a decent computer to at least work with. i can load from the live cd again, but that's kind of a pain because none of my settings stay.
Thanks in advance for your time guys.
