sendmail, command to flush queue?
location: linuxquestions.com - date: March 13, 2003
I want to know the command that will flush the queue for sendmail?
I type /usr/sbin/sendmail -bp and I get a list of the queue. I don't want any of the messages in this queue to go out, so I need to delete them. What is the command to flush out the existing queue?
Thanks!

How to get command line from Linux TV box
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: September 11, 2011
This is a long shot
I have a TV PVR which runs on a Linux OS, annoyingly it runs a 'check disk' message at inconvenient times (I assume it is the fsck command).
There is no obvious way to get a command line on the device though I can access web addresses and get config details such as about:config etc
Anyone know any tricks that might get me a command window so that I can control various boot up options.

Command to restart Linux Firewall in Slackware
location: linuxquestions.com - date: June 25, 2006
I am a relative newbie to Linux. I have Slackware 10.2 installed. I have been using it as a Proxy server for a few months now (all seems to be going well). Now I want to use this same machine as a firewall. I have been able to edit the iptables, but I don't know how to restart the firewall after I save my changes. I have been restarting the machine. I know there has to be a command line that I can execute to do this. Can anyone help?
thanks
Terminal command lists (for Linux FC#5)
location: linuxquestions.com - date: January 26, 2007
As a newcomer to Linux, I see that after installing Fedora Core # 5, that much fine tuning is needed and that some (assembler type) low-level programming is needed. Can somebody provide me with a good Terminal command reference guide (programmer’s manual) – preferably as an overview flyer - that identifies every Terminal command, syntax required and arguments possible?
