Debian ISO download question
location: linuxquestions.com - date: February 3, 2003
Id like to download Debian via ISO.
Do I need ALL the ISO's? Theres quite a few, and I dont need EVERY SINGLE package, just base-install, and X, with Gnome, and assorted standard tools.
Anything extra I can download the packages as I need them.
Which ISO's do I need?

Debian CD Download
location: linuxquestions.com - date: August 4, 2005
I am looking to download Debian and give it try. From the reviews, it seems that tries to be stable and powerful, but provides easier system administration management that Slackware.
However, their website wants me to download like fourteen iso images. I can't do a minimul network install for various reasons (doesn't matter what they are). So which CDs should I download to give a reasonably powerful system without crashing the installation process?
I am esssentially a Slacker, so I am not that picky about having loaded packages.
Any help would be great!

Where do I download Mozilla Firefox for 64bit Debian Linux (Lenny) that Flash works?
location: linuxquestions.com - date: September 19, 2009
I go to the Mozilla Firefox website, and it seems to insist on downloading the 32-bit version. I am now thinking that Mozilla doesn't build 64-bit Linux versions; does anyone know why that would be the case?
What I have now is some version of Iceweasel 3.0.x on my 64-bit Debian Lenny machine, and it does not display the flash video correctly. I have successfully downloaded Firefox 3.5.3 on my 32-bit Debian Lenny laptop, and it views flash just fine. The flash video I am referring to is at http://www.finewoodworking.com/Skill....aspx?id=32953.
