- date: September 16, 2015
I get the following error when dealing with C using Fedora:

Any ideas on where the problem is?

Error while compiling a C program using GCC
location: linuxexchange.com - date: November 22, 2014
I am very new to using GCC in Linux. I have written a sample C program, when I try and run the C program in command line using gcc file.c, it gives me the following errors:
In file included from /usr/include/features.h:388:0,
/usr/include/gnu/stubs.h:10:27: fatal error: gnu/stubs-64.h: No such file or directory

When I type which gcc, I get the location of the installed file, I get the version number as:

One week using Fedora 19, and still going strong
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: July 11, 2013
Last week Fedora released its newest version Fedora 19 Schrodingers Cat
And its actually a very solid release! I mean seriously this is a good distro that Fedoras got now.
After playing with Manjaro and finding its quite unstable I jumped ship back to ubuntu for a bit.
But then came Fedora 19, as a person who is mixed about Fedroa this is actually the one worth talking about.
Its stable, steady and rather quick.
And considering the fact that Fedora has a very ample supply of packages this may be my distro for some time.
Sure I will try Ubuntu 13.10 but if its a bad release i know what my fallback will be

GPG Error when using aptget update
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: November 27, 2012
I'm running a fresh install of Lubuntu 12.10 (wubi), and I keep encountering this error when trying to update:
$ sudo apt-get update
Get:1 http://archive.canonical.com quantal InRelease [3,954 B]
Get:2 http://archive.canonical.com quantal Release.gpg [3,954 B]
Get:3 http://archive.canonical.com quantal Release [3,954 B]
Ign http://archive.canonical.com quantal Release
E: GPG error: http://archive.canonical.com quantal Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2
Please bear with me, as I don't exactly know a lot about package management/key signing, but does anyone know what steps I could take to fix this? Any help is appreciated.
"Boot error" using UNetBootin to create bootable USB drive
location: linuxquestions.com - date: December 14, 2011
I am trying to create a bootable USB stick with Ubuntu, KUbuntu or Fedora on it. I have a desktop running windows XP, one running ubuntu, and one with a blank harddrive that was formatted to ext2.
Whenever I use UNetbootin on either the ubuntu machine or windows and try to boot from the USB stick, I get "Boot error".
I have tried downloading the .iso, letting UNetbootin download the .iso, booting a number of different machines with the USB stick and never get passed the "Boot error".
I managed to get puppy linux to boot into the rc.sysinit script but then it lost the keyboard and mouse and could not continue.
Anybody seen this? Any advice?
ffmpeg: libx264 error when using presets
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: May 25, 2011
OS: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx)
I have installed the latest ffmpeg using this tutorial :
HOWTO: Install and use the latest FFmpeg and x264.
What ever I do I always get the same error when trying to use ffmpeg with the new presets setting. I've searched forums and google the whole last day and now I'm pretty lost.
Here is the command I use (I've stripped it down to it's simplest form.):
$ ffmpeg -i ~/Desktop/input.mkv -vcodec libx264 -vpre lossless_slow ~/Desktop/output.mp4
and this is the error:
[libx264 @ 0xabfec80] constant rate-factor is incompatible with 2pass.
I'm not doing multi-pass encoding?
I've tried changing the bitrate, adding -pass 1, bitrate tolerance, quality based etc... I've tried at least 60 different things... reinstall ffmpeg countless times using different tutorials. It's always the same error.
Thank you for your help.
