Hi, I want to play some games on my Intel HD 2000 notebook with my friend. What are the best games to play on one keyboard? (We already play SuperTuxKart)
Slow Mouse and Keyboard Input in OpenGL Games.
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: June 1, 2013
When I play a game like Portal or Minecraft, my mouse and keyboard input lags. When I try to move the mouse or use keys on the keyboard there is a 1-2 second pause before it actually does anything on-screen. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to have arisen after I installed the fglrx driver from AMD's website. I have a USB mouse and keyboard, and the graphics is a Radeon HD 6450.

I've decided to buy this cute gaming keyboard, but before I buy it, I want to know if it will work (will it be compatible) with linux. Will work those additional 18 buttons? Will display work? Any help will be appreciated.
Logitech G110 gaming keyboard on linux?
location: linuxquestions.com - date: May 19, 2012
Does anyone lurking on this forum have any experience using an Logitech G110 gaming keyboard with linux?
I requested information from Logitech but only got an automated response that they only provide software for Windblows and Mac, not linux.
Has anyone been able to patch the Mac software to work in linux?
I'm not sure if the software is needed only for initially programming the 12 extra "gaming" keys or for actually using them (converting the returned scan codes).
Any thoughts, comments, or tips regarding this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Diablo 1 shows black screen after intro on Mandriva 2008 w/ WINE.0.9.44
location: linuxquestions.com - date: December 4, 2007
I am JUST venturing into the world of Wine (I eventually would LOVE to get rid of Windoze altogether... currently I have XP and Mandriva 2008 on dual boot) and I've managed to install Diablo II LOD, Astrolog32 (an astrology tool for calculating Birth/Natal Charts), and Omikron - The Nomad Soul (I know, I love the old-school stuff! ). Unfortunately I cannot get the first Diablo to run correctly. It SEEMS to install ok... I can see the Blizzard logos and if I don't hit any buttons the intro screen starts up ok. But after that I get a black screen, although I still hear the music in the background, and I can also hear if I move thru the options with my Up/Down arrows and press enter to select. Is this an issue w/ Wine? Or my comp? I'll insert the contents of my xorg.conf file (who knows, maybe my settings are off).
I've also noticed that on Omikron and Diablo II LOD when I setup wine.cfg I select 1024x768 for my resolution, but it defaults to 800x600. I can't change my monitor's
[SOLVED] [OpenGL] black screen for all opengl games

I just installed Neverball, Nexuiz, and a few other opengl related games.
But all I got is black screen. In some cases, I couldn't even turn on a new terminal with ctrl+alt+F1....
Meanwhile I can play Pingus perfectly.
Does it have everything to do with my OpenGL?

Before anything, let me say that i'm new here and i'm glad to be part of this community.
Ok, now, let's deal with my issues.
But first, i must tell my story briefly. If you want, read it, or otherwise, just jump down my post...
Two days ago, i was enjoing my Windows XP OS. Then i decided to edit the theme with some "NSA logo crap" by editing some files in /system32 directory.
It's a rather short story, but in the end, i wasn't able to access to the computer anymore, because i was stuck at the boot screen with some message tellin' me that some files were corrupted or some crap like this...
Anyway, days before this "accident", i was talkin' with some friends about Piracy in the Internet and related legal issues.
While talkin', we stumbled upon the O.S subject and how their costs affected computers' prices when buying one with a pre-installed O.S like Microsoft Windows...
I've heard about Linux and Ubuntu (well, i've heard of Linux many times bu

Where did my Xmas penguins go?
location: linuxquestions.com - date: December 22, 2006
Bit of a horror!
When I installed 10.2, it had a cute animated bootsplash with snow and penguins. I had a X crash and did ctrl+alt+backspace and when it came back the penguins were gone, and I am back to the standard blue Suse bootsplash.
If anyone has time between last minute shopping and knows what happened, please help. It was proving to be a huge selling point for people I'm trying to convert from M$.
