Clementine GStreamer is missing a plugin
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: April 16, 2011
Just installed Clementine audio player, but it won't play mp4s. It says gstreamer is missing a plugin, google search turned up some leads but they didn't lead anywhere. Mp4s work fine in Amarok, and i have already installed the restricted extras package.

So I'm using Clementine Music Player to play my music (on Ubuntu 11.10 mind you) and some files...well, just don't play. They're flac files and the funny thing is some will play, whereas some won't. On ocassion I'll even get a pop-up saying that "your gstreamer installation" is missing a plugin but I've checked through the software center and haven't seen any gstreamer plugins that I haven't installed...
Is there something I'm missing here?
Missing libGLU.so.1 and graphic error on lxterminal
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: March 3, 2011
After upgrading to the new nvidia-current and xserver-xorg I get the message "error while loading shared libraries: libGLU.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" on the game Teeworlds.
And if I'm starting lxterminal I get a black square of the same size as lxterminal on the upper left corner. It is some graphic glitch and causes often my system to freeze for some seconds - minutes.
My graphic card is a GeForce 8600 GT. Has somebody an idea how to solve the problems?

Xlib error "extension "GLX" missing on display"
location: linuxquestions.com - date: September 1, 2014
I have a remote build-machine with Jenkins and I'm trying to run GUI application. In Jenkins I installed Xvnc plugin, which uses TightVNC Server, but each build has failed.
Earlier, there was a problem with loading driver swrast (by libGL), currently in the log there are this lines:
[iLamp] h.264 playback error in gstreamer & vlc
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: July 14, 2012
Sorry to complain folks, but I've inherited a 17" USB-1 g4 iLamp, and it's worked great but I seem unable to play h.264 mkv video - I always get the following error: "could not find gstramer caps for ffmpg codec h.264". mp4 video get's the same error. I don't have any mpeg2 video, ogg-vorbits or webm to try. Xvid seems to work.
As a workaround, WinFF hangs in mid-launch and Lubuntu has to force-kill it, so down-converting video seems out of the question at the moment. Flash seems EoL'ed. Even if I can get the html5 version of youtube to work, a lot of other sites complain that I need to upgrade to another version of flash, both in Midori and Firefox.
There wouldn't happen to be a MacOS or iOS cousin to WINE, by chance, so that I could extract PPC MacOS h.264 codecs and have that be that?
Error: Steam missing 32bit libraries in Ubuntu 14.04 64bit

You are missing the following 32-bit libraries, and Steam may not run:
I've installed Steam through "Ubuntu After Install" software. When I try to run Steam I get the error shown above. I have tried the following forum threads without success. The missing libraries list has got a little shorter, but not all gone. What to do?
