How Open Source works? What is Open Source?

Hi,
Here is my brief video about "How Open-Source Works, and a basic question What is Open-Source".
YouTube Video URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZSwzkYLd1o
In this video I explain the overview and the overall big picture of Open-Source, I hope it may help many who are willing to contribute open-source, and even who knows people may get inspired to start new open-source projects, and people who are contributing Linux and Linux based open-source projects.
I have given various examples in this video, also given a prime example of Linux Kernel itself. As you can understand unlike many other open-source projects (assume, MySQL, Squid, etc), Linux Kernel releases are a bundle of many open-source kernel modules, device drivers supported by third-party vendors, individuals, contributors, PLUS Linux Kernel source with it.
Hence you can get over-view and a basic insight of open-source licensing, and terms.

Questions on Linux Raid (mdadm) and how well it works?
location: linuxquestions.com - date: January 31, 2013
Hey,
I have been thinking about creating a RAID using Linux Fake raid or mdadm tool instead of just keeping on adding single HD to my system. However, I have couple question on mdadm raid:
1.) If my Motherboard / SATA controller fails, can I transfer/recover my RAID and data if I transfer to new computer or MB? I have had this scenarios before motherboard failed but luckily since they were just single drives I could just plug into a new motherboard.
2.) How long does it take to Grow/Add to a Raid 5 array? Ex: I add 2 TB drive to a 4x2TB array. I have heard Raid 5 especially takes a long time.
3.) Will the data on Raid 5 be access able during rebuild/recover/adding task on mdadm?
4.) Finally, I keep on hearing Raid 10 is better option than Raid 5, any opinion on this as related to Linux fake software raid?
Thanks!

[SOLVED] Can anybody explain how Copy.com works to me?
location: linuxquestions.com - date: March 28, 2015
I'm running Xubuntu and it was a challenge just getting Copy.com on there. (I installed the desktop app on both of my computers.) Now that I have it though, I don't really know how to use it.
I know this is kind of more a Copy.com question, but I don't know anything about Copy.com (besides having it--lol) and besides, I like you LQ guys.
So yeah, I installed the desktop app for Copy.com on both of my computers. I know that if I put something in the Copy folder that will be available to both computers.
But how Copy does the backing up I don't know.
When I change a file or folder do I have to plop that into the Copy folder every time or does Copy somehow update the file or folder in the Copy folder automatically? (It doesn't seem to.)
Okay, when I, say, take the Documents folder from one computer and plop it into the Copy folder that's that. Then I take the Documents folder from the other computer and plop that into the Copy folder, then all the files from both folders w
