[SOLVED] Linux mint 9. How do I activate sounds from a .jar folder?
location: linuxquestions.com - date: September 15, 2010
Hello to everyone, I hope someone can help me with my small problem. I have been using Linux Mint 9 for one week and I am very happy with it. However I am having problems with a .jar folder. I downloaded Wordbiz, the scrabble software and I made the relevant file executable and opened it with Sun Java 6. The software opened perfectly and operates well apart from the sounds. There is a folder containing the sound files and I don't have a clue how to incorporate those files into the software, in other words I want the software to have sounds. Can anyone help me please? The sounds are quite important as they are alerts. Thanks in advance.

How do I loop over a list of files in ksh
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: September 13, 2006
Getting a bit frustrated with this one now It's not really Ubuntu specific but given the wealth of knowledge on these forums I though I'd try my luck
I'm trying to write a ksh script to recurse down through a directory structure and run another program against any .avi files it finds.
All is well until the script comes across a file or directory with a space in the title - because ksh uses space as the delimiter for a list . At this point it treats each word in the file name as an individual file.
Does anybody have any suggestions or recommendations on ways around this?
