Java crashes Firefox

Firefox crashes whenever I enter the website: https://ebanking.danskebank.dk/html/...N&secsystem=DI
The problem is a JAVA applet running on the right hand side of the page. Java seems to work other places but when I run Firefox in terminal I get the following output:

[SOLVED] Enabling Java for Firefox
location: linuxquestions.com - date: October 14, 2013
So I downloaded and built JDK from slackbuilds, (64-bit) but I don't have it listed in my plugins for Firefox. Seems from the documentation that it is not enabled by default, but how do I enable it?

Java Plugin Security Hole [FIXED]
location: linuxquestions.com - date: August 30, 2012
I'm running Slack 13.37 (64bit). Firefox reports a security threat with the Java plug-in. My version of the plug-in (currently disables) is 1.6.0_25. I've been checking with slackpkg to see if there are any updates, but have not seen any.
Does anyone know if this security hole in the Java plug-in is a risk on Linux?
If so, how would one go about patching this?
Java Plugin not working Iceweasel 22.214.171.124, Java RE 1.6.0.01
location: linuxquestions.com - date: May 11, 2007
Problem is solved. I added contrib and non-free to my sources.list, apt-get update, then installed Java 5 from aptitude. Not the shiniest, but it'll work for my needs. I'm not at my laptop right onw so I can't post the exact package names. I think they begin with sun-java5 though.
I have installed the Sun Java Runtime 1.6 on this computer, and followed the instructions (using the Mozilla 1.4 enabling instructions) at http://www.java.com/en/download/help...selfextracting carefully. Everything proceeds as normal except when it comes time to restart the browser and test it. I get a message that Java isn't installed correctly.
I've checked that I'm using the correct directory for my browser -- /usr/lib/iceweasel -- and ensured that I ran the install as root. I'm just stumped on what to do now.
java library path problem

I am trying to launch an application. It used to work, after restarting the computer, I have tried to launch the app... this is what I get in the log.
The Apache Tomcat Native library which allows optimal performance in production environments was not found on the java.library.path: /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-126.96.36.199/jre/lib/i386/client:/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-188.8.131.52/jre/lib/i386:/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-184.108.40.206/jre/../lib/i386:/usr/java/packages/lib/i386:/lib:/usr/lib

[SOLVED] Google Chrome Java Plugin keeps out of Date
location: linuxquestions.com - date: September 13, 2012
I could not anyway get my Chrome to use the latest Java SE 7 update 07 plugin, it keeps, I dont know why, using Java SE 6 Update 24.
my java version:
java version "1.7.0_07"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_07-b10)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.3-b01, mixed mode)
I also did create a link for /usr/lib/jvm/jre1.7.0_07/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so (which many says was supposed to solve this problem) in the folders:
but no success I specially want to access the javaFX sample page (http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/p...x.html#SAMPLES)
but I keep getting messages "please install java ..."
my linux is: Mint 13 (Maya)
thanks in advance
Enable Java plugin for Mozilla browser
location: linuxquestions.com - date: December 23, 2004
I'm trying to install the Linux java plugin for the Mozilla browser and I'm confused as to what to do. I have a "bin" file which I don't use often. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with this file. I upgraded from the previous to 1.7.5 just a few days ago. On the older version of Mozilla, the plugin already worked fine. Now it says there is no plugin at all. Thanks in advance for any help.

oracle java plugin stopped working in chromium
location: linuxquestions.com - date: November 18, 2013
I use java jdk 1.7.0_45 64bit and it's plugin in chromium browser;
But recently it stopped working.
Seems that chromium recognizes plugin because warns me when I'm opening site with applet ("java needs your permission to run"). But after my confirmation plugin area remains empty - nothing happens.
All java alternatives are configured properly - links to java, javaws, jexec as well as link to the plugin libnpjp2.so are configured correctly: they all point to /opt/jdk1.7.0_45/jre/***
iced-sea plugin is installed but disabled;
java plugin appears on plugin list in chromium:
Java(TM) - Version: 10.45.2
Next Generation Java Plug-in 10.45.2 for Mozilla browsers
Oracle java verification concludes:
"We are unable to verify if Java is currently installed and enabled in your browser."
The same situation when I switch to 1.6.0_43
So: what can be the reason?
My system is Ubuntu 12.04 64bit
Nothing changed after iced-sea complete deinstalation.
