rt linux installation problem

It's a Gcc installation problem actually
I am a bit newbie to linux and now i need to install RT Linux (fsmlabs) on my ubuntu 10.10 laptop.
RT Linux required to use GCC-2.91.66 version but my gcc is 4.6 that comes with Ubuntu. How can i download and change it? I have tried "sudo apt-get install gcc-2.91.66" and it does not work.
Finally is there anyone ever installed/use RT Linux? I have always failed in installation steps. Is there a confidental guide for it,especially on an Ubuntu distro?
Thanks in advance so much.

I tried to expand my Software List for Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jack by using:
(http://theindexer.wordpress.com/2009...e/#comment-382), see below.
((("To Do List After installing Ubuntu 9.04 aka Jaunty*Jackalope
1 – Expand the Software Repository List
First of all, lets make Ubuntu “see” more packages. Go to the terminal and edit your sources.list with:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Here is the content of my sources.list which I think is quite complete to have all the necessary applications you could ever need. So delete the whole content of your sources list and replace it with the content of <author's>. (Note, I saved a copy of my etc/apt/sources.list first)
Save it. Go to the Terminal and type:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
Now all your programs will run on the last version.")))
After doing this, I installed avg85flx version 85.287. I was never able to see it in my Applications or Add/Remove Applications, but it was liste
New linux installation problem

I bought a magazine and it brought 2 cd's containing a famous Brazilian distro (Conectiva 9). The instructions in the magazine were very clear and ease but it didn't work as was.
I separated one computer just for a brand new Linux installation, formatted the hd with windows 98 (didn't install windows 98 though).
I run the installation from the cd-rom drive and it promptly regognized the new cd.
Soon it shown a black screen like DOS with the work GRUB in the next line.
If I pressed TAB I would receive the list of GRUB commands I did it but it didn't help me because I know none of them.
Can you help me with the installation??
I tried to contact the magazine but they say they have no suport for that.

Linux Config Problem
location: linuxquestions.com - date: December 24, 2004
I am putting this up on the Ubuntu, DamnSmall & Linux Questions forums. I redid my harddrive & used Ubuntu to set up the linux partitions. I have Ubuntu on hda5, installed with Lilo. I tried editing lilo.conf, but didn't have much luck. It would only let me boot to Ubuntu or Win98SE. I installed DamnSmall on hda6 & reinstalled Lilo. Edited it for 98 first & default, dsl second & other empty win drives. My problem is?? How do I put an entry in Lilo so I have the choice of Ubuntu. I tried different forms of /dev/hda5 & image=vmlinuz (with all the numbers) . Nothing works. How do I run two linux systems on the same computer?? Thanks for the help & the time.
Here's a copy of my lilo.conf from DSL:
# /etc/lilo.conf - See: `lilo(8)' and `lilo.conf(5)',
# --------------- `install-mbr(8)', `/usr/share/doc/lilo/',
# and `/usr/share/doc/mbr/'.
