Apache Server maxclient/serverlimit perf Tuning

Wondering if i can find a definitive answer from the great people here.
I've been trying to set-up/tweek these param's in Apache to a setting suitable to the server for the amount of memory. When i look around some people say, hey.. just look at the memory used per process and then divide that by the amount of memory available and you get the number of processes that can be handled by Apache in one go before it starts swapping.
Well, for this i'd done this calculation and for me it turned out to be 200 approx concurrent connections.
Well funny thing is, out MySQL server had a slow down so the Apache servers were running at approx 450 concurrent connections and weren't swapping in memory etc (still had 600MB free not including what was available in Buffers/Cache - 'free -m')...
Thus if i had have set the limits to 200 then people would have been not getting to the site, so i'm kind of pleased that i happened to not have the time to set this yet.
so the question i

Apache 2.4.4 / php 5.4.14 / openssl 1.0.1e / xdebug / MySQL 5.6 installation
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: April 30, 2013
after spending 3 days to search on internet some good explanation/tutorials about how to perform a clean install of Apache 2.4.4 / PHP 5.4.14 / MySQL 5.6 / Openssl 1.0.1e / xdebug 2.2.2, i must say that i'm disappointed.
i found several tutorial but everytime package is installed in a different way, located in a different directory, with different options.
Moreover it seems that nobody has been able to create such LAMP (with versions i 'm looking for)
I tried several solutions but till now nothing was working really great.
So i need your help to find a good tutorial about how to install on ubuntu 12.10 or 13.04 at least: apache 2.4.x / PHP 5.4.x / MySQL 5.5.3x with openssl and xdebug 2.2.x
thanks a lot.
PS: for now i'm testing it under VirtualBox and VMWare to see compatibility issues...if somes...

Sorry about the rather obtuse title to this post but I can't really even describe this bug accurately.
I need to call a python script from php. It requires MySQLdb.
Installing Apache 2, PHP 4.3.4 and MySQL 4.0.17
location: linuxquestions.com - date: December 22, 2003
I need help installing Apache 2.0.48, PHP 4.3.4 and MySQL 4.0.17. I also have the latest version of ModPerl, but if no one can help me with that, it's ok.
So basically I need someone to give me a short introduction for this. I have seached here, and everything I found is for Apache 1.* or PHP 4.2.* or MySQL 3.* and I know the install is different.
If someone could help out this total newb, or give a link to a really good, really detailed tutorial it would be great!

Install Apache, Mysql, PHP on Ubuntu Desktop Edition via Ubuntu Server CD
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: July 16, 2011
I am running Windows XP Pro and the latest edition of Virtualbox. I installed Ubuntu 11.04 Server Edition on a Virtual Drive within the latest version of Virtualbox. I also installed Apache, Mysql and PHP after selecting the LAMP installation option on the server CD. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to learn how to access and use Apache, Mysql, and PHP via the terminal. I am a GUI person!
I therefore created another virtual drive and installed Ubuntu 11.04 Desktop Edition on the new virtual drive in Virtualbox. I connect to the internet via a mobile phone at expensive rates, so I do not want to download the Apache, Mysql, PHP software directly from the repository via my Ubuntu Desktop Edition. I would prefer to install Apache, Mysql and PHP directly from the .iso file that I have for the Ubuntu 11.04 Server.
My Question is:
What are the series of commands that I must type into the terminal window within Ubuntu 11.04 Desktop Edition to retrieve and install the Apache, Mys
