No Package mongo10gen available YUM INSTALL on AMAZON LINUX MACHINE
location: linuxexchange.com - date: October 30, 2012
I have encountered a problem while trying to install mongo db on the amazon linux server.
I believe the server is Fedora Linux and I followed the following steps from the official tutorial.
1, I created a repo by using "sudo vi /etc/yum.repos.d/10gen.repo" with content
[10gen]
name=10gen Repository
baseurl=http://downloads-distro.mongodb.org/repo/redhat/os/x86_64
gpgcheck=0
2, sudo yum install mongo-10gen and mongo-10gen-server
Error is
No package mongo-10gen available
No package mongo-10gen-server available
I've tried to Google it for a while, but seems can't find a answer.
You help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Toshiba Satellite A10: BCM94318MPG + b43 Firmware [no package]
location: linuxquestions.com - date: March 9, 2013
So what my problem is is that when i try to run another linux distro i ALSWAYS get freezed or blackscreen.
So i tried nomodeset and i915.modeset=1 vga=791-- in boot parameters. And that worked for Backtrack. But not for Unbuntu(Confused) and not for Pepermint linux.
Now when i check the dev mode i get this message:
http://wssc.in/imghost/images/img2013031.jpg
So i tried this:
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/...devicefirmware
sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
The command for ubuntu because backtrack is based on it. BUT! then it said like No package found or something. And i don't know what to do now...
And it is really strange because the wireless module does work in backtrack just fine WITHOUT any drivers needed to be installed!
My hardware and software:
Toshiba Satellite A10

No valid Qt versions found
location: linuxexchange.com - date: September 12, 2013
Qt Creator is complaining about
No valid Qt versions found
when I try and make a new project. It also says
Please add a Qt version in Tools/Options or via the maintenance tool of the SDK
When I go to tools/Options, it says:
Qt 4.8.1 in PATH (System) /usr/bin/qmake-qt4
But there's a red sign by it with an exclamation mark.
I have looked on Google but there's no solution that works for me. I installed Qt Creator and the SDK, and have build-essentials.

I'm trying to follow this guide http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/virtual-machines-linux-create-upload-vhd-oracle/ to prepare my virtual machine for uploading on azure.
I'm arrived at the command "sudo yum install WALinuxAgent" and given it but obtained the error "No package WALinuxAgent available"; I also updated the file public-yum-ol6.repo and checked for update to 6 update 5 but without result.
Where I can find it (over then github)?
Installation problem "no Red Hat CD found in CDROM drive"
location: linuxquestions.com - date: January 11, 2004
When going into install with the Boot Diskette, I get the message:
"No RedHat Linux CD was found in your CD-ROM drives"
I downloaded the 6 files from RedHat website. They are .iso files. When I burned them to the CD I extracted them using WinRAR and used NERO
to burn.
Also tried just burning the .iso file onto the CD, still it gave me same error.
am I missing something ??? what's your advice for a newbie ?

Suse 11.2 k3b no cd/dvd writer found?
location:

Hi,
After my last online system update, ubuntu 10.10.1 (pre-release) now crashes and the last thing written to the screen is "starting nbd client service" so I am trying to burn a copy of the new 10.10 final DVD on my Suse 11.2 install to try to recover or reinstall ubu.
With a stock install of suse 11.2/64 bit, k3b does a system config probe and finds 'no cd/dvd writer found'. My writer worked fine on the now-comatose ubuntu.
If I put in an ubuntu 10.10.1 cd, it finds it and mounts it:
[email protected]:/home/brianp# ll /media/
dr-xr-xr-x 10 brianp root 2.0K 2010-08-16 05:18 Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS i386
Brasero just says that there is no available disk. When I insert the black cd, I see the popup telling me that there are 2 choices to handle the disk, one of them is k3b. Then k3b says that there are no cd/dvd writers found.
I read some fixes about adding me to the CDROM and DISK groups, but I don't have either.
Now, it won't eject either with the button or with the
please wait...
