location: linuxquestions.com - date: June 18, 2005
I was wondering is there any chance i can get calmat to run on linux. For those who dont know it's a program specifically designed for bsc computer science students to introduce basic maths concepts in order for them to do advanced programming. It uses the windows version of java. I already tried cedega and wine they both struggle in they cant install java and wont copy the program files.
When installing java it says the destination direcotry is locked at the very end where it's finsihing off why?
WLAN and WEP on Laptop running Fedora Core 2 64bit arch
location: linuxquestions.com - date: August 12, 2004
I have a problem bringing my WLAN card alive in Fedora. There are lots of tips and guidelines out there, but from the ones I've found so far they're either very 'messy' and 'unclean' (meaning I didn't even try them to see if they actually work) or they don't work with my 64bit kernel. On top of it, my WLAN router requires 128bit WEP authentication.
I have (for the record) tried the linux-wlan (www.linux-wlan.org) project drivers, and that doesn't work as far as I can tell.
It's quite urgent that I get this up and running, and I would truly appreciate all help.
Details worth knowing (This is information that I think is needed. Please don't hesitate to ask for more details if it's needed to work out a solution.):

Hello, I'm running Redhat Fedora Core with the apt-get off freshrpms.net
I tried to install the following application as you'll see in the command below, and I get depends libmagick.so.5 -- How can I resolve this? Will I have to download and compile libmagick?
I tried apt-get libmagick.so.5 -- nothing
