RHEL 6.5 64 bit Desktop and USB audio driver support

I have a System76 Lemur Ultra Thin (lemu4) notebook PC and I purchased Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 64 bit for Desktop. I have a Resolution Audio Opus 21 and HRT Microstreamer. Both are USB 2.0 audio devices that support up to 24 bits 96 kHz resolution music playback. When I plug in my devices, I can't get the music to play through these devices into my Etymotic ER-4PT/S or AKG K 701 headphones and my Ray Samuels Audio Emmeline HR-2 headphone amplifier. I used Red Hat Fedora 19 64 bit and there was no problem with audio playback through these high resolution USB DACs. How do I get this to work in RHEL 6 Desktop 64 bit?

It appears that Ubuntu has removed the 64 bit desktop 9.10 download link from their download page. Why have they done that or am I just being stupid? If I am missing it then please somebody let me know where to find the link.

I have a database server running RHEL 5.1 32 bit that suffered some catastrophic failures about 6 months ago. We were able to patch it back together and keep it running, but now the manufacturing site it supports is going to shut down for two weeks and I would like to replace it permenantly.
Does anyone have any guidance for that sort of thing? I'd like to have the new server up and running before hand, basically changing the hostname/ip and restoring the databases only on conversion day. I've done this in the past with HP UX - Red Hat conversions, but this is my first red hat to red hat move. Any advice or shortcuts?
EDIT: I forgot to add the other wrinkle. The new server will be running 64bit linux.

I recently took over some RHEL 5 systems and I need to get some updates, since I was told my C libraries are way to old. If I get this RHEL 5 system on the net as root, do I need to register my OS (and how) and then get some updates?

[SOLVED] Fedora 12 Firefox 64 bit flash pulse audio no sound resolved

The situation was that I had 2 Fedora 12 boxen.
One played flash videos with sound, and one did not!
Eventually I found the actual problem, and it was trivially fixed (I don't want to remember the many blind alleys I went into first...).
When I looked at
System ==> Sound Preferences ==> Sound
and selected the 'Applications' tab, I got the line:
"No application is currently running or recording audio.",
but the Mute check box to the right of the 'Output Volume' slider at the top of the tab was unticked.
However, when I was running a flash video, I had a line:
"ALSA plug-in (npviewer.bin) ..." with another Mute check box on the right that was ticked! Unticking this new Mute check box, enabled Firefox to play YouTube video's with sound!

RHEL 32 vs. 64 Bit, MySQL 5

I have a general question, and then a narrower one. The general question:
On a system with a 64-bit Xeon (Intel EM64T) CPU, how much does one lose (if anything) by installing the 32-bit version of an application instead of the 64-bit version? What happens when the 32-bit app talks to the 64-bit OS? Is there some kind of thunking or context switching that has to happen? If so, is it significantly time consuming?
The narrower question:
I'm installing MySQL 5 on a Dell PowerEdge with a 64-bit Xeon (Intel EM64T) CPU. After installing the 64-bit RPM's, and try to start the Apache web server, I get the following:

Slamd64 (64 Bit slackware) and ATI driver problems

Hello all !
I'm trying to install ATI's propietary drivers into my install of slamd64 (64-bit slackware) 12.2 but I'm having no joy at doing so. Here's my system spec;
* 4gb ram
* motherboard - asus m3a78em
* cpu - AMD Phenom II x4 940
* graphics - ATI radeon HD 3200 (onboard graphics)
Slamd64 version is 12.2 on a 18.104.22.168 kernel.
Unfortunatly every time I try to install *any* of ATI's drivers from here ( http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx ) from the command line, the install fails. Attempting to use X afterwards results in a major system-lock up, no response from mouse nor keyboard only way out is reset button!
Right at the end of the installation of ATI's drivers I get some strange text on the screen, which looks a little like this :
