Greetings all just to let you know that GamingOnLinux's new crowdfunding wiki is open and in the spirit of open source anyone can contribute and edit it.
It keeps a list of ongoing, completed and failed funding from kickstarter, indiegogo etc.
So you can keep track of games for Linux that are being crowdfunded, enjoy!

Hi
You may have noticed a large amount of HOWTO relating to SDL and games programming on this part of the forum, well, guess what! we've made a Wiki to store all these lovely articles.
We will continue to post on the forum about any questions and we will announce every new HOWTO as they are released.
If you have any ideas for HOWTOs or you have a HOWTO of your own that you would like to contribute, let us know and we will be happy to include anything you give.

can't unsubscribe wiki.ubuntu page
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: November 24, 2011
I am subscribed to two wiki pages at wiki.ubunut.com and can't unsubscribe.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HelpOnSubscribing states
"To stop email notifications, simply click the 'Unsubscribe' link. (remember that you must be logged in in order to change your preferences."
When logged in, I don't see an unsubscribe link on either of the two pages I am subscribed to. The heading for both pages stays the same:
"Edit | Info | Subscribe | Attachments | More Actions | username | Logout | Help"
And Unsubscribe is not in the drop down "More Actions"
If I should be asking elsewhere, please let me know where.
Thx

PHP not working for Media Wiki? Ubuntu 10.10 server.
location: linuxquestions.com - date: September 10, 2011
I have been working on a Media Wiki site on my local network. When I open the index.php file from my Wiki's main directory, Firefox thinks I want to download the file and opens a download popup window like it would for a picture or MP3. I have CakePHP installed on the server.
When I go to the index.php of a Media Wiki powered site I go to often, the .php file works perfectly. Do I need to configure something somewhere? I haven't restarted the server since I installed CakePHP, so it may be as simple as that.
How to setup a dual monitor Ubuntu Wiki
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: October 27, 2010
I put several hours into adding a "How to setup a dual monitor" in Ubuntu's Wiki. I hope this will help other people. I know if I would have been able to read this that it would have saved me a lot of time. I hope this saves other people time.
