I am not sure if my title explains it right, but here is the image, and you can see what's wrong.
The individual layers in GIMP do not show this error.
virtualbox: XP has internet but Vista does not
location: linuxquestions.com - date: May 31, 2008
I'm using virtualbox(latest version) on a ubuntu 8.04 install
I have two virtual machines set up, firstly XP which works fine and can connect to the internet
Secondly Vista, which can't detect any network cards from virtual box.
Both VMs have the exact same settings so is there some reason why the network card information is not being passed thru to vista?
Can someone please advise me on this?
[SOLVED] The latest Dailymotion video player does not work
location: linuxquestions.com - date: July 29, 2015
Dailymotion has recently updated his video player .
The result is that on Slackware 14.1, my Firefox 31.0 and my Flash 11.2 r202 are no longer able to play videos (I get a black box instead of a video).
In order to solve my problem, I have followed these instructions and I have upgraded my software to the last version (Firefox 39.0 and Flash 11.2 r202 22.214.171.1241) but I am still unable to play a video on Dailymotion whereas I am able to play any other Flash video on the Internet.
Any idea how to resolve this problem?
Wubi does not find download and install Ubuntu netbook remix.
location: linuxquestions.com - date: January 21, 2010
I'm having trouble with wubi. It isn't finding downloading or installing UNR I previously had problems with installing Kubuntu Netbook. It's almost like someone moved the files for both of these iso's and forgot to tell the people at wubi to correct the address. Unless I'm way wrong on this. Does anyone have a possible workaround for this?
Ubuntu 8.04 on dual boot Grub does not find Windows XP
location: linuxquestions.com - date: May 1, 2008
A friend updated from 7.10 Ubuntu to 8.04. After the online download and updates completed, Grub only finds Ubuntu. Trying to boot into XP no longer works. I suspect that Grub needs to be edited, but I do not know what parameters to change. Can I do the edits to the menu.lst file from Ubuntu using- sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst?

Network manager does not find dns while VPN'ed
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: April 16, 2012
I am running Ubuntu 11.10 and installed network-manager-gnome with all available addons from the software center. I imported a pcf file for the VPN. When selecting the VPN at work or home, it shows that VPN is connected.
While I am at home I am able to connect to the machines on the other names. When i'm at work, I am not. I think it's because the client is not finding the DNS server. Is there a reason for that? When I ran the network manager in Fedora 16 it was able to find the DNS at my job and home.
g++ does not find include files
location: linuxquestions.com - date: November 30, 2003
The include files are in directories referred to using backward slashes as this is how they're recognised in Windows. Is there anyway to avoid having to go through every .cpp and every .h file in my project changing backward slashes to forward slashes?
