I'm very new to the Linux enviroment so I hope you can give me a newbie guide to installing a driver from the command prompt.
I've tried to locate a step-by-step guide in the read me file but I can't find anything.
The driver is named:
I've tried to post in the backtrack forum without any luck.

[SOLVED] [ubuntu] how to input stuff from the boot screen?
location: linuxquestions.com - date: September 3, 2010
I just installed truecrypt and I think it's a great encryption tool, so I encrypted everything (except a seperate /boot partition) and added a few lines to read my password in during boot time.
The problem is, I can't type anything during boot time, so the whole system is waiting for my password, but I can't type anything, what I type doesn't even echo to the screen. This is when initrd is trying to mount the root partition, right before that. But initrd will not let me type anything! so the whole system hangs at "enter password".
So I am now kicked out of my own system because of this password prompt. Of course I could remove with a live cd, but I do want to figure out how I could make this work, i'm sure i'm not the first one to think of this.

Ubuntu: How to reenable expired root account?
location: ubuntuforums.com - date: May 9, 2008
Running Ubuntu 8.04.
Had a password assigned to root at one time. Disabled it using the command $sudo passwd -l root
Wanted to log in as root again, tried sudo su and got the message "Your account has expired; please contact your system administrator.
su: user account has expired"
Tried re-enabling using the command $sudo passwd root
It accepted the password change but still won't let me log in as root. I get the same error message about account expiring.
Any idea how to fix this?
